Nelson Farmers Market Cooperative
Community Members Committed to Serving You
Our market started in 1997 when a handful of farmers in Nelson County decided to form a private cooperative to help local residents have better access to fresh local produce.
Over 25 years later, the Nelson Farmers' Market Cooperative continues to support our local farmers, processor producers and craft vendors to bring a wonderful variety of products to our community.
Amie Holko
"Wonderful experience while we were visiting for the weekend. They had a wonderful selection of meats, breads, fresh cuts flowers, jellies, relishes, cheese, art, soaps, syrups, and so much more! The music was great and the vendors were better!"
Rita Mayo
"Great music on Saturdays! So much wonderful stuff to choose from. Cut flowers, bakery items, pottery, vegetables, plants, beef, pork, chicken, eggs just to name a few. Should really take the time to check this market out. People are so nice and willing to take time to talk with you, sort of like neighbors visiting on your front porch. I love it!"
Christine Laffoon
"This sweet farmer's market had maybe 20 booths set up with a great variety of vendors. There were vendors selling produce, meats, cheeses, fish, wooden ware, coffee, kombucha, and much more. Definitely worth the stop!"
